Cream-coloured Courser. Bradnor Hill Golf Course, Herefordshire. 22nd May 2012
When a juvenile CCC turned up on the Isles of Scilly in 2004, twitching it was an impossibility, despite an Ovenbird also being present for a while. Therefore when a bird was amazingly found on Bradnor Hill Golf Course in Herefordshire, plans were made to see it as soon as possible. Monday 21st ended up being an aborted attempt but with work done on 22nd, we managed to get across to the site with very little traffic hold ups and were watching an amazing bird but about 7pm. Although confiding, everyone stood well back to allow it to feed and kept a respectable distance from the golfers.
